Now that I got the brief introduction over with, I'd love to share what my week looks like.

Sooo grab your iced latte (or tea) and discover what my week consists of.

As I mentioned previously, I work in manufacturing; I'm a machine operator. I honestly want to say that I have one of the best schedules I have ever had. I do work weekends, but I don't mind it. I don't like going out too much on weekends; the traffic is TOO much, which, if you live in the metro Atlanta area, you know what I mean.

My schedule consists of Thursday-Saturday, 3 x 12.

Not too shabby, huhhhhh? I have all week to myself to do all the things I need to do, like rest, haha.

I'm not exactly a morning person, but I'm not a fan of sleeping in either. I typically kick off my day around 9 a.m., and I love heading downstairs to brew my perfect cup of coffee. It's my moment to relax and let my mind wander as I plan out my day. Staying active is important to me, so I either hit the pavement for a light run or make my way to the gym.

Every day is pretty much the same except Wednesday; I meal prep for my work week and do laundry.

What are my days at work like?

uffffff.

For the girlies that have ever worked in manufacturing or warehouse, you know it's a very demanding job, both mentally and physically.

I kick off my work days by rolling out of bed at 4am... yep, before even the sun has had its morning coffee! (at least i do have my cup of coffee)

Regrettably, for those curious about the company I work for, I am unable to share this information for my own safety and the company's privacy. However, I can offer a small hint:

Everyone loves having it in their mouths. ;)

My job as a machine operator starts by arriving to work right before 5 a.m. I have to change into my uniform; steel-toed shoes are a must. Most of the day is the same. I've been very lucky to be a break relief. For the most part, my role is to help my fellow operators and make sure they go to break while I keep their machines running. I do this for 12 hours.

Now that it's winter, I go in when it's dark... I leave when it's dark.

Looks like the sun's got the same work schedule as me—punching out at 5:30pm sharp!

During my work hours, I rarely ever have plans, so I go home, shower, eat my dinner, and play Candy Crush until I fall asleep... (yes, I still play that; it helps me relax)

Oops, I forgot to mention, every day is the same but different. Once I plan my day after my morning coffee, I'm either like a crab inside my little shell or I'm out by myself or with a friend

(s).

Here's a fun fact: I absolutely LOVE dining at nice restaurants with great friends, or solo <3

  • con mucho cariño, xoxo

P.S. Are you all curious to uncover the journey that led me into the world of manufacturing?
